Account takeover via unverified password-update identifier
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Authorization bypass in IDURAR ERP CRM 4.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to take over another administrator account. The updatePassword handler uses the URL path identifier in UserPassword.findOneAndUpdate without checking that it matches the authenticated administrator. Any valid administrator token and a target identifier are sufficient to set the target's password, enabling login as that account and access to its ERP/CRM data.
