Kernel crash via freed SMC LLC queue entry
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
Use-after-free in Linux kernel 6.14 allows remote attackers to crash the system through an SMC-Rv2 ADD_LINK exchange. smc_llc_srv_add_link() frees the LLC queue entry before smc_llc_save_add_link_rkeys() reads add_llc when no shared v2 receive buffer exists. Reachability requires SMC-Rv2 link addition on a device with max_recv_sge equal to 1; the demonstrated consequence is a kernel memory-safety fault and system crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
