Kernel-memory disclosure via unchecked cache metadata

Out-of-bounds reads in Linux dm-pcache 6.18 allow local users with CAP_SYS_ADMIN to disclose adjacent persistent memory via a forged cache device. cache_kset_crc and replay workers trust an unbounded key_num, while cache_key_decode accepts offsets and lengths that extend beyond a segment and later copies adjacent memory into a caller bio. Exploitation requires privileged control of the cache device; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure to user space rather than memory modification.
