Kernel warning via uncanceled delayed work
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
Improper work cancellation in the Linux mt7925 Wi-Fi driver 6.14.3 through 6.15 causes a kernel warning during device teardown. The stop path leaves five-second-delayed mlo_pm_work queued after mt7925 teardown, so its timer later tries to queue work on a destroyed workqueue. The condition requires MT7925 PCIe or USB hardware, multi-link power-save setup, and teardown during that five-second window; published evidence reports a warning rather than a crash or data compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
