Kernel memory corruption via unchecked EEPROM offset

An out-of-bounds write in Linux 6.2 allows physically proximate attackers to corrupt kernel memory via a crafted MT7996 MCU response. mt7996_mcu_get_eeprom trusts the device-supplied event->addr when deriving a destination in eeprom.data and limits only the copied length. A malicious or malfunctioning MT7996 device must return an out-of-range address; the resulting overwrite can corrupt kernel memory.
