CVE-2026-80913Hinoki check available

NULL-pointer dereference via incomplete boolean definitions

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

Improper validation in the Linux kernel's SELinux policy loader allows attackers to trigger NULL-pointer dereferences via a malformed policy image. cond_index_bool() indexes bool_val_to_struct[] from declared boolean values while trusting an independent count, leaving NULL slots that later access-vector and selinuxfs consumers dereference. Reachability requires a policy that declares more booleans than it defines; conforming policies are unaffected, and the source does not specify a further security consequence.
