Improper checksum validation in Linux kernel IPVS allows remote attackers to inject invalid ICMPv6 packets into packet processing. ip_vs_in_icmp_v6() omits client-packet validation, while handle_response_icmp() validates server replies without the required IPv6 pseudo-header. Reachability requires an IPVS ICMPv6 mangling or tunnel-reply path; no further confidentiality, integrity, or availability consequence is published.
