Unspecified impact via uncancelled RxRPC OOB processing
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Uncancelled RxRPC out-of-band processing in the AFS component of Linux allows attackers to cause unspecified impact during teardown. The AFS OOB worker is not cancelled or queued on afs_wq for teardown synchronization, so the handler can run after the network namespace is no longer live. Reachability requires kAFS with AF_RXRPC and the teardown race; Linux has not published a more specific security consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
