Kernel stack corruption via oversized NFC-F response
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Linux kernel NFC digital support allows physically proximate attackers to corrupt kernel stack memory. digital_in_recv_sensf_res() copies resp->len bytes from an NFC-F SENSF_RES into the 18-byte target.sensf_res field without an upper-bound check. The attacker must be nearby and respond during active NFC discovery; no prior pairing, authentication, or user interaction is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
