Out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel DRM HDMI connector allows attackers to cause a kernel crash via unspecified vectors. The helper in drivers/gpu/drm/display/drm_hdmi_state_helper.c copies 60 bytes from a 28-byte audio infoframe allocation because it uses the generic destination size rather than the source size. If the read crosses a page boundary, it raises an access violation; the upstream report observed the defect only under KUnit with KASAN and establishes no attacker-controlled production path.
