Out-of-bounds read via unchecked socket ownership

An out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel ovpn subsystem from 6.16 allows attackers to read beyond an object via a conflicting socket state. The ovpn socket lookup dereferences sk_user_data without first confirming that the socket encap_type marks the pointer as ovpn-owned. Reachability requires another subsystem, such as BPF SOCKMAP, to set sk_user_data without the expected encap_type; published impact is limited to an out-of-bounds read.
