CVE-2026-80732Hinoki check available

Service interruption via freed PCI bridge access

Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Use-after-free in the pata_sl82c105 ATA driver in Linux allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt service through affected hardware. The driver calls pci_dev_put() before reading the PCI bridge cached revision, so the bridge can be freed before the later dereference. Reachability requires the pata_sl82c105 path and corresponding PCI hardware; published impact is limited to availability.
