Undefined behavior via zero VSI ring divisor
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Divide-by-zero in the Linux kernel ENETC driver in 6.19 allows attackers to cause unspecified impact via unspecified vectors. The enetc4_default_rings_allocation() path divides ring counts by pf->caps.num_vsi without first handling a zero value. The condition occurs on standalone MX94-series ENETCs without SR-IOV; ARM64 division returns zero and produces no visible crash, leaving the reported consequence limited to undefined behavior and cross-platform compatibility risk.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
