Local crash via misexposed sysfs attributes
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Kernel input-driver flaw in Linux 6.11 allows local users to crash the system by accessing ims-pcu sysfs attributes on a data interface. The ims-pcu driver-core device groups expose main and OFN attributes on a manually claimed secondary interface whose descriptors and internal state cannot service them. Access requires a local ims-pcu device with its secondary interface bound; invoking the misplaced attributes can crash the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
