Out-of-bounds read in the Linux IMS PCU driver allows physically proximate attackers to access stale kernel data through short device responses. The ims-pcu command-response path reads expected response fields without comparing the returned byte count with each structure size. Reachability requires a connected IMS PCU device that returns a truncated response; published material establishes out-of-bounds or stale-data reads.
