Authenticated code execution via bucket-index drift

Out-of-bounds write in MongoDB Server's affected 5.0 through 8.3 branches allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. Processing duplicate FlatBSON field names desynchronizes the time-series bucket catalog's field-name-to-index mapping, causing mongod to write beyond a memory boundary. Database write privileges and crafted time-series operations are required; successful exploitation runs code in the mongod process and can compromise stored data and service availability.
