Subscriber-level object injection via profile-field deserialization
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
PHP object injection in AdvancedCoding wpForo Forum before 3.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through profile fields. The profile-field handler deserializes a user-supplied value without restricting which PHP classes may be instantiated. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; without a POP chain the injection has no direct impact, while a chain from another installed component can enable code execution, file operations, or SQL injection.
