API key exposure via disabled TLS verification
Published Oct 2, 2026 · Updated Oct 2, 2026
Improper TLS certificate validation in HAVELSAN Sef before 2.1 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept external API requests. The APIToolRunner.ExecuteWithContext function hardcodes InsecureSkipVerify to true, so its HTTPS client accepts certificates without checking their trust chain or hostname. Exploitation requires control of the network path between Sef and a configured external API; intercepted traffic can expose API keys and user data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
