Authenticated service interruption via unauthorized RabbitMQ deletion
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Improper authorization in IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via RabbitMQ deletion. The product permits an authenticated request to delete arbitrary RabbitMQ queues or exchanges without verifying authorization for those messaging objects. A valid product account and network access are required; successful deletion disrupts message routing or delivery and causes a denial of service.
