CVE-2026-80218Network attack vector

Cross-resource impersonation via discarded JWT subject path

Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026

Improper authentication in Alembic Ash Authentication allows remote authenticated users to impersonate users across resources. The password, WebAuthn, and persistent-session token preparations parse the JWT sub claim but retain only the query string, discarding the resource path that binds the token to the intended subject. Exploitation requires a valid sign-in token for one configured resource and another resource with matching primary-key field names, enabling cross-resource account access without token forgery.
