CVE-2026-80202Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Cross-team timesheet manipulation via global permission scope

Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026

Incorrect authorization in Kimai before 2.56.0 allows remote authenticated users to read, alter, or delete cross-team timesheets via the API. TimesheetVoter::voteOnAttribute() reduces each check to own_timesheet or other_timesheet and omits team membership. ROLE_TEAMLEAD or a role holding the relevant other-timesheet permissions is required; maintainers state that this global scope matched the documented permission model.
