Account access via reusable password-reset links
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Authentication bypass in Kimai 2.57.0 and earlier allows remote attackers with a leaked login link to access a user account. The LoginLink signature covers only the internal user ID, so password changes do not invalidate an issued password-reset or admin login link. Exploitation requires interception or caching of a link; after its first use, it grants two more authenticated sessions within the one-hour validity window.
