Team access disruption via premature membership deletion
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Improper authorization in Kimai before 2.63.0 allows remote authenticated users to remove all members from an editable team. The PATCH /api/teams/{id} update path deletes existing membership rows before validating the submitted replacement members payload. Team-edit permission is required; malformed input returns an error after deletion and can leave the team leaderless, blocking legitimate team-scoped access.
