Internal network access via manipulated rooturl
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Server-side request forgery in the WebSSH/WebTelnet listener in Lantronix devices allows remote attackers to reach internal endpoints. The custom shellinaboxd trusts the connection's rooturl parameter as its own address and uses a modified value to open Telnet sessions to arbitrary hosts. Unauthenticated access to the listener is sufficient, enabling endpoint enumeration or communication across network boundaries.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
