Authenticated code execution via relative path traversal
Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Relative path traversal in Dell SCG Appliance before 5.36.00.16 and Application before 5.36.00.00 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. Dell identifies the flaw only as relative path traversal and has not published the affected endpoint, parameter, file operation, or path-validation failure. A low-privileged account and undisclosed additional conditions are required; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled code on the gateway.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
