Arbitrary file upload via unchecked multipart endpoints
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in ContiNew Admin 4.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to store arbitrary file types. MultipartUploadController exposes init, part, complete, and cancel without file-upload permission checks, while MultipartUploadServiceImpl records supplied extensions without applying the normal allowlist. Any logged-in user can persist attacker-controlled files; stored XSS or server-side execution requires a storage URL served by a compatible web handler.
