Cross-workspace access via caller-supplied workspaceId
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Authorization bypass in Airbyte Platform 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access resources across workspaces. AuthorizationServerHandler promotes a caller-supplied workspaceId from raw JSON, and AuthenticationHeaderResolver authorizes it before resource-derived identifiers without verifying resource ownership. Membership in any workspace and knowledge of another workspace's resource UUID are sufficient to read configuration, control syncs, or delete resources at the member's existing role level.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
