Internal data disclosure via IPv6-transition SSRF bypass
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
SSRF in Cloudreve 4.17.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read internal service responses through remote downloads. ValidateExternalURL passes resolved NAT64, IPv4-compatible, and 6to4 addresses to checkIP without decoding their embedded IPv4 targets, so private destinations appear public. Remote-download access is required; successful requests expose internal-service data and can disclose cloud instance credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
