Arbitrary code execution via double free
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Double free in Adobe Acrobat products allows attackers to execute code in the current user's context via a crafted PDF. Adobe has not published the affected parser, object type, or ownership error that causes the same allocation to be released twice. Exploitation requires the current user to open the malicious file, after which attacker-supplied code runs with that user's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
