Execution-state corruption via heap buffer overflow
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Heap overflow in HPE NonStop Debug Utilities T0638L01^AAJ and earlier allows local users to corrupt the resume-execution address. The overflow overwrites execution-resumption state; the retrieved material does not identify the triggering input or affected routine. Low-privileged access is required, and execution-flow redirection is a potential consequence rather than demonstrated arbitrary code execution.
