CVE-2026-79754Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated command execution via unquoted Kaniko build path

Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026

Command injection in Iguazio Nuclio 1.6.19 through 1.17.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands in the Dashboard container. Kaniko.createContainerBuildBundle interpolates the attacker-controlled spec.build.tempDir-derived context path unquoted into a tar command executed by /bin/sh -c. Function-create permission and the Kaniko builder are required; successful exploitation exposes the Dashboard filesystem, environment, and namespace service-account access.
