Cross-tenant tool execution via missing ownership check
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Authorization bypass in MCPHub before 1.0.30 allows remote authenticated users to execute tools on servers owned by other users. The POST /api/tools/:serverName/:toolName route resolves serverName through the global getServerByName lookup without applying the ownership gate used by list and configuration paths. A provisioned non-admin account is required; exploitation exposes data and internal services reachable through another tenant's connected MCP servers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
