Missing authorization in MCPHub before 1.0.32 allows remote authenticated users to alter globally served prompts and resources. The POST and PUT prompt and resource routes apply authentication but no administrator gate, and their handlers write request bodies without consulting req.user. A basic non-admin account can create, overwrite, or shadow records that the shared DAOs serve before connected-server content, including templates delivered into other users' sessions.
