Unauthenticated arbitrary file creation via cookie path traversal
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Path traversal in Cloudways Breeze before 2.5.13 allows remote attackers to create files outside the cache directory via a crafted cookie. The cache path builder incorporates an unsanitized request value from a currency cookie, allowing traversal segments to redirect cache-file writes. No authentication is required; successful exploitation creates or overwrites server files, but the published evidence does not establish code execution.
