Authenticated command execution via unsanitized act argument
Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Command injection in Advantech WISE-6610 and WISE-6610P 1.2.1_20251110 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The Basic Station Certificate-Deletion Handler's basicstation_apply function incorporates the act argument into a command without neutralizing command syntax. Access to the certificate-deletion function is required, and injected commands can compromise the gateway's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
