Authenticated log disclosure via missing route authorization
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Missing authorization in system log endpoints in lin-snow Ech0 4.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read and stream server logs. The dashboard router places HTTP log handlers behind JWT validation without an admin-scope check, while the WebSocket handler only parses the token. A regular registered account therefore exposes historical and live logs containing internal paths, stack traces, application state, and other users’ activity.
