Account takeover via partial redirect URI matching
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
OAuth redirect validation in Ech0 before 4.7.3 allows remote attackers to steal user tokens through a crafted login link. parseAndValidateClientRedirect compares only the scheme and host, then redirects to an attacker-chosen path with a one-time code. Exploitation requires opt-in OAuth, an allowlisted host that leaks URLs, and victim interaction; a leaked code yields access and refresh tokens.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
