Email disclosure via serialized Comment field
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Information disclosure in lin-snow Ech0 before 4.7.3 allows remote attackers to read guest commenter email addresses through public APIs. The Comment model marks Email with json:"email", so unauthenticated handlers serialize the full GORM-loaded struct without a public DTO or field stripping. Any visitor can enumerate addresses through /api/comments and /api/comments/public; the flaw has no reported write or service-interruption capability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
