Internal data access via unvalidated peer URLs
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
SSRF in fetchPeerConnectInfo in Ech0 before 4.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to access internal services via crafted peer URLs. The function appends /api/connect to a stored peer URL and calls SendRequest without the private-address and DNS-rebinding checks in SendSafeRequest. A logged-in user who can add a Connect entry can make the server read responses from internal services or cloud metadata endpoints.
