Authenticated history disclosure via unscoped identifier lookup
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Authorization bypass in Red Hat Satellite 6 allows remote authenticated users to read cross-organization Content View lifecycle history. The find_content_view method resolves a user-supplied content_view_id without restricting the lookup to the ContentView.readable scope. Access requires view_content_views permission in one organization; exposure is limited to lifecycle events, associated users, and timestamps.
