Administrator authentication bypass via hardcoded login branch
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in sso-master 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to obtain an administrator SSO session via a crafted login request. The UsernamePasswordSystemAuthenticationHandler.doAuthentication method returns success for username admin and system sso without checking the supplied password. The /cas/login endpoint must be reachable; no account or CAPTCHA is required, and successful exploitation issues a ticket authenticated as admin.
