Out-of-bounds write in Google Chrome's Media component before 148.0.7778.96 on Mac and iOS allows remote attackers to execute code inside its sandbox. Google identifies the Media component but has not disclosed the affected function, the malformed media input, or the operation that writes beyond its bounds. Exploitation requires a crafted HTML page, user interaction, and an already compromised renderer process; the resulting code execution remains inside the Chrome sandbox.
