Service interruption via crafted L2CAP packet
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Denial of service in Bestechnic BES2300 Bluetooth Audio SoC firmware 3.x and earlier allows attackers to interrupt service via a crafted L2CAP packet. The l2cap_handle_data() handler processes the malicious packet, but published materials do not identify the invalid field, missing validation, or resulting failure mode. The attacker must be within Bluetooth reach; no authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
