Cross-user configuration modification via missing ownership check
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Broken access control in x-ui 0.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to modify other users' inbound proxy configurations. The inbound update path accepts a target resource identifier and writes the port, protocol, enabled state, expiry time, and traffic quota without verifying resource ownership. Any authenticated account can alter another account's proxy behavior, availability limits, and traffic allowance when the target identifier is known.
