Authenticated file disclosure via unrestricted path
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Path traversal in CyberPanel 1.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to read files through a crafted fileName value. The file manager's readFileContents method accepts an absolute or out-of-scope path without canonicalizing it or restricting it to the authorized domain's home directory. Ownership of any configured domain is required, and successful requests disclose files readable by the CyberPanel execution identity.
