Session theft via unsanitized shared HTML previews
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Moonshot AI Kimi 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to steal victim sessions through shared HTML previews. The HTML artifact Preview renders model-generated markup in Kimi's origin without neutralizing scripts, allowing access and refresh tokens to be read from localStorage. An ordinary attacker account must publish the artifact and a signed-in victim must open its public Share link, after which stolen tokens allow account takeover.
