Cross-origin data disclosure via FindInPage validation
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Improper input validation in FindInPage in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data. Google has not disclosed which FindInPage input is accepted incorrectly or how that validation failure bypasses cross-origin isolation. Exploitation requires a crafted HTML page, user interaction with that content, and prior compromise of Chrome's renderer process; the reported consequence is cross-origin data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
