Sandbox escape via Bluetooth use-after-free
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.65 on Mac allows remote attackers to execute code outside the sandbox via crafted HTML. The Bluetooth component accesses an object after its lifetime ends; Google has not published the affected object or trigger sequence. A victim must open attacker-controlled HTML on a Mac, after which code execution escapes the browser sandbox and can compromise the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
