Sandbox escape via improper Media workflow enforcement
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Improper workflow enforcement in Media in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to execute code outside the sandbox. Google has not published which Media workflow transition is accepted incorrectly or the affected code path. Exploitation requires crafted HTML, user interaction, and prior compromise of the renderer process; successful exploitation runs arbitrary code beyond the renderer sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
