Sandboxed code execution via parser state validation
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Improper state validation in Google Chrome's Parser before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to execute code inside the sandbox. The Parser accepts crafted HTML while failing to validate an internal processing state; Google has not disclosed the affected routine or state transition. A user must open or render the crafted page, and reported execution remains confined to the browser sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
